InterSOLUTION, International specialised trade fair for solar energy in the Benelux

Solar energy is the brightest solution for the future, which explains the overwhelming success achieved by InterSOLUTION during the first edition held last January. The second edition of this international specialised trade fair will take place at FLANDERS EXPO in Ghent/B on 14, 15 and 16 January 2010. With double the number of square metres, you can justifiably call this an explosive growth. It is proved beyond doubt! InterSOLUTION is the place to be to meet all the professionals in this sunny niche market.

During InterSOLUTION, it all became as clear as day!

During the first edition last January, there were plenty of things to be discovered by the many professionals attending. InterSOLUTION was pleased to see that the economy of the future will increasingly gravitate around sustainable energy. The figures do not lie. To break into this niche in the market immediately brought together a considerable number of exhibitors. Around 75 exhibitors from various countries lavishly displayed their wares with an international flair. This was also evident from the impressive stands and the publicity given to this fair by many exhibitors. Add to that the InterSOLUTION team’s inexhaustible energy, and what you end up with is an impressive number of visitors: 4,270 professionals from Belgium and abroad. What was most impressive was the high percentage of Dutch visitors (17%). But visitors from all corners of the earth found their way to InterSOLUTION.

There are many new things under the sun!

In the coming edition as well, numerous small and large innovations in the field of PV and thermal systems, converters, cables and mounting materials will be displayed. There are simply too many to name. So make sure you do not miss our next edition, because developments in the land of solar energy are happening at the speed of light.

We would like to give you sneak preview of one of our exhibitors. Something unique will be displayed at the Lapp Benelux stand. As sponsor of the solar car Umicar Inspire of the University of Leuven/B, Lapp Benelux has succeeded in getting this solar car to InterSOLUTION 2010 soon after the World Solar Challenge in Australia. At the end of October, the solar car will be in Darwin for the start of a 3,010 km race.  Weighing less than 170 kg and with a top speed of 140 km/hr, the team is certain to win a place on the podium.
The team will hopefully return to Belgium with the world title. Would you like to find out about the team’s experiences during the race in Australia? From 14 to 16 January, you can admire the Umicar Inspire at the Lapp Benelux stand (3213) at InterSOLUTION 2010.

A place in the sun

We all want to make our own contribution to a better environment and a sustainable society. We want to bring the initiatives that many producers take based on solar energy out into the sunlight. With InterSOLUTION, we offer visibility to leading companies that emphasise sustainable construction.

A few months before the last edition, we could already proudly announce that we were almost fully booked. That is why we have doubled our surface area for the coming edition. In this way, exhibitors who were on the waiting list for the first edition can now get their “place in the sun”.
